Pro vyjíždějící studenty
Většina fakult ČVUT požaduje po svých studentech, aby absolvovali kurzy dvou cizích jazyků, obvykle během prvních dvou let studia. Velká většina studentů se učí anglicky. Jiné nabízené jazyky, sestupně dle popularity: němčina, ruština, francouzština a španělština.
Odbor zahraničních styků pořádá kurzy moderní řečtiny a italštiny, určené budoucím Erasmus studentům.
Mezinárodní studentský klub získal cenu Evropské unie Label za vynikající jazykové kurzy, v nichž se čeští a zahraniční studenti vyučují navzájem a neformálně. Učitele lze najít pro většinu jazyků Evropské unie – Mezinárodní studentský klub pravidelně poskytuje kurzy např. finštiny a švédštiny, což jsou jazyky obvykle neposkytované nikde jinde v zemi. Pro přijíždějící studenty
Odbor zahraničních styků během posledních dvou let o prázdninách poskytoval kurzy češtiny jako cizího jazyka pro Erasmus studenty a zamýšlí v tom pokračovat. Během akademického roku Odbor zahraničních styků nabízí akreditované kurzy češtiny jako cizího jazyka a českého života a kultury. Jazykové kurzy češtiny jsou nabízeny na úrovni začátečníků a pokročilých. Většina Erasmus studentů se účastí obou těchto kurzů.
Language courses
For outgoing students
Most CTU faculties require their students to take courses in two foreign languages, usually during the first two years of study. The vast majority of students learn English. Other languages offered, in descending order of popularity: German, Russian, French and Spanish.
The Department of International Relations organises courses of Modern Greek and Italian for prospective Erasmus students.
The International Student Club has been awarded the European Union Label for its excellent language courses in which Czech and foreign students teach each other informally. Teachers can be found for most European Union languages – the International Student Club regularly provides for example courses of Finnish and Swedish, languages not usually offered anywhere else in the country. For incoming students
The Department of Foreign Relations has been providing Czech as a Foreign Language courses for Erasmus students during the holidays for the past two years and intends to continue doing so. During the academic year, the Department of Foreign Relations offers accredited courses Czech as a Foreign Language and Czech Life and Culture. Czech language courses are offered at beginner and advanced levels. Most Erasmus students participate in both of these courses.
